The GritHouse is the GritFX YouTube channel and is the brainchild of Will Thame. On the channel you will find animations and short films, as well as the GritFX staff members’ favourite videos.
Will and Max are your typical film school drop-outs who moved into other careers. But they never really lost their filmmaking bug, and together and alone they now create their minature visions in the comfort of their own homes. They'll give you any kind of excuse they can muster for their amateur equipment and abilities, but when it's all said and done, only you can be the judge. Check out the short films of Will and Max at The GritHouse today.

Cinema Art of the 1980's
Cinema Poster art of the 1980's, featuring the artwork of Drew Struzan, John Alvin and Richard Amsel.
Drew Struzan (Born in 1947) is still working today, recently having completed artwork for Hellboy 2. His big break came in 1977 when he worked with fellow artist Charles White III on the 1978 re-release poster for Star Wars. His work from the 1980's included the poster art for The Goonies, Coming to America & Risky Business. Steven Spielberg called him "my favourite artist" whilst George Lucas described him as the "only collectable artist since World War 2".
John Alvin (1948 - 2008) produced the original theatrical poster for E.T. the Extra Terrestrial, using his daughter as the hand model for that iconic piece. His other work included the poster art for Blade Runner and Gremlins and his most recent work included artistic commissions for the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Harry Potter.
Richard Amsell (1947 - 1985) was best known for his wonderful work in the 1970's for such films as The Sting, The Shootist and Chinatown. His most famous work was for the theatrical release of Spielberg's classic 1981 film Raiders of the Lost Ark.
