Give the guy a break. It's tough on the campaign trail, all that schmozzing and back-slapping, the pledging of promises never to be realised etcetera. Once you finally get to the White House, you're exhausted, right George? Of course you need a vacation. Work on that tan and hit the golf course. Don't worry about the pressing domestic and international issues that await the new President. They'll still be pressing when you return.
